When we talk about “Japanese cuisine” we think of sushi of course… Chef Luc Salsedo has concocted a revisited sushi recipe for you. These are sushi rolled with socca and which you can prepare at home using our SoccApéro® preparation. This preparation is made with chickpea flour exactly like the traditional recipe for socca, a specialty originating from the south of France. In addition, this preparation is gluten-free and is made from ingredients of natural origin. Good tasting!

What do we drink?

A fresh fruit juice

Ingredients

  • - 1 bottle of SoccApéro®
  • - A piece of squash
  • - Chestnuts
  • - A Camembert to roast
  • - Honey from the maquis / from flowers
  • - Parmesan
  • - Salt and pepper

Recipe

  • - 1 socca pancake = approximately 7 sushis
  • - Preheat your oven and cook your Camembert at 200° for around 10-15 min.
  • - When the Camembert is hot, take it out and remove the rind.
  • - Cut your piece of squash into cubes and cook it in boiling water. When it is cooked, mash it with a fork, add salt and pepper.
  • - Crush a few chestnuts and set aside.
  • - Prepare your socca pancake with the bottle of SoccApéro®. On half of the pancake, spread a nice strip of squash, the melted Camembert, add the chestnut pieces and finish with a little honey.
  • - Gently roll the pancake, starting from the garnished side and tightly, sushi style.
  • - Cut off the less aesthetic edges, eat them discreetly and cut the rest of the roll into 5 equal parts.
  • - Present on a plate with a little arugula and a few shavings of parmesan. A delight!
